The Boston Celtics are one win away from the 2024 NBA title. The Celtics withstood a frantic Dallas Mavericks comeback attempt in the fourth quarter to take a 3-0 lead in the NBA Finals with a 112-104 victory in Game 3 on Saturday night.
Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with 21 points and three steals, while Derrick White added 18 points and three steals. Payton Pritchard hit a clutch bank shot late in the fourth quarter to seal the victory for Boston.
The Mavericks were led by Luka Doncic, who had 30 points, 12 rebounds and six assists. Spencer Dinwiddie added 21 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Celtics' balanced attack.
The Celtics can clinch their 18th NBA championship on Monday night in Game 4 in Dallas.
